Happy Wednesday everyone, and we’ve got the perfect Wednesday recipe featuring this Tuna Steak with a Lemon Butter Garlic Sauce on the blog today. Not really sure what a “Wednesday” recipe is, but we’re making it a thing. In my mind a Wednesday recipe is an easy and healthy weeknight dinner, because who wants to spend hours in the kitchen after a long day. And I don’t know about you, but by hump day I am ready for a weekend of relaxation.
These Tuna Steaks couldn’t be more refreshing, light, and requires little effort for a perfectly delicious meal. It’s a must add to your weekday meal plan. Of course you can choose any side to go along with your tuna, but we chose to serve ours over a bed of white rice. I say we, but Sammy is the one who discovered this tasty dinner recipe, and she makes it for her and her boyfriend on the regular.
We were talking about it the other day, and she mentioned how they finally opened a sprouts market near her, and it’s mostly the only place she does her marketing now. When I asked her why, she said “she can load up on healthy snacks, and not feel guilty about it.” Sprouts is great like that, most everything you buy is on the healthier side leaving no room for error like when I shop at Vons. I’ll admit, everytime I walk past the chips, that bag of doritos cool ranch screams my name. The struggle is real.
Aside from getting healthy snacks at sprouts, she is always telling me how great the fish, meat, and produce sections are making it easy for her to find these delicious Tuna Steaks and all the other ingredients to go along with it. She is definitely inspiring me to shop smarter and healthier, especially with how delicious this recipe turned out!
So that’s my food for thought today, and we hope this recipe makes its debut in your kitchen soon. Stay tuned for a loaded recipe round up coming to the blog Friday that you are not going to want to miss. Until then, Happy Cooking everyone!
