It’s not every year that you make a Thanksgiving spread so amazing you can’t help but start planning what’s on the menu for next year, and that’s kind of where we’re at right now. Only 359 days to go but who’s counting. So we know Thanksgiving is officially over, but in our minds it’s never to soon to start planning for the next one. Today we will be sharing some of the Thanksgiving staples that made it to our tables this year, and will next year as well.
Bourbon Maple Glazed Carrots
This is the best Maple Glazed Carrots we’ve ever made and I swear the trick is cooking with Whiskey. This is one of those must have side dishes for our families at Thanksgiving and this was recipe was requested by all for next year.
This crockpot cream corn tasted pretty similar to the cream corn we usually make on the stove top, but there is one major benefit to this recipe. With all the other foods cooking on your stove top in prep for a huge meal, it’s so wonderful to have at least one recipe not taking up a burner and cooking in the background. This is how we will always make cream corn from now on..
Sausage, Pear & Sage Stuffing
This was certainly the crowd favorite at our Thanksgiving mainly because it’s not your traditional stuffing recipe. We are not big stuffing people, which is why this is the perfect recipe for us, but it’s also perfect for those who love stuffing. This is definitely a must try!
Brown Butter Almond Green Beans
Not a fan of green beans? Don’t write them off just yet, try this recipe out and decide then. The added crunch from the almonds are so necessary in our opinion, we won’t be making green beans with out them again!
