Pickled Avocados
If you’re in need of a new delicious snack, these pickled avocados might just be what you’re looking for. They are unique in flavor with hints of vinegar, cilantro, garlic, and crushed chili peppers.

  • 1cup distilled white vinegar
  • 1cup water
  • 1/3cup sugar
  • 1tbs kosher salt
  • 1tsp crushed red pepper flakes(1/2 tsp or less if your not a fan of spicy)
  • 1clove garlic, thinly sliced
  • 5sprigs Cilantro
  • 1underripe avocados, peeled and thinly sliced
  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine vinegar, water, sugar and salt and bring to a boil, stirring frequently. When the sugar and salt have dissolved, set aside to cool.
  2. In a mason jar, place red pepper flakes, garlic, cilantro, and avocado slices. Pour cooled pickling mixture into the jar and seal tightly with a lid.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or at most 3 days before serving.
