  • 4 boneless chicken breast(or bone in skin on)
  • 1/2cup flour
  • 1/2tsp seasoned salt*
  • 4tbs crisco oil
  • 2 handfuls of egg noodles
  • 4 carrots
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 2cup chicken stock
  1. Mix the flour and season salt in a zip-lock bag. Add chicken and shake to coat.
  2. Heat oil on medium high heat, add chicken and brown on both sides.
  3. Add chopped vegetables and chicken stock. Reduce heat and simmer for 40 to 45 minutes.
  4. Cook noodles separately during the last 15 to 20 minutes, drain and add butter.
  5. Remove cooked chicken from pan. If applicable remove the skin and bones. Shred chicken and return to skillet.
  6. Add remaining seasoned flour and stir over low or no heat. Add noodles and serve.

Notes: Seasoned Salt is salt combined with any kind of poultry seasoning of your choice.  We used Penzey’s Mural of Flavors seasoning, and it was the perfect addition.
