Hot Buttered Rum
This old-fashioned cocktail recipe for Hot Buttered Rum will warm you up from the inside out with a spicy kick and subtle hints of nutmeg, cinnamon, and powdered sugar.
spiced rum, to taste
fresh ground nutmeg
Combine softened butter, powdered sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon until it becomes a smooth texture, set aside.
Boil ¼ cup water.
Add 2 tbs of butter mixture to a tumbler glass, and pour boiling water and a 1-2 shots of spiced rum to tumbler glass.
Mix together until butter dissolves completely and enjoy hot.
