Homemade Strawberry Fruit Snacks
Why store buy fruit snacks, when you can make a better healthier version at home? Kids will love them, and you can have piece of mind knowing what these addicting snacks are made of.
strawberry (or other fruit)
Cut up strawberries and put into saucepan with lemon juice.
Heat over medium low heat until strawberries become tender.
Puree in a blender.
Mix in honey and vanilla.
Slowly (really, really slowly or you’ll get big yucky clumps) mix in the gelatin. Use a whisk to really mix it in well.
Pour into silicone molds or a small square pan.
Refrigerate for an hour to speed up the setting time.
Run a knife around the edge of the pan or mold that you used, pop out the mixture, and cut as desired.
