Homemade Strawberry Fruit Snacks
Why store buy fruit snacks, when you can make a better healthier version at home? Kids will love them, and you can have piece of mind knowing what these addicting snacks are made of.
  • 2cups strawberry (or other fruit)
  • 1/4cup lemon juice
  • 4tbs honey
  • 1/4tsp vanilla
  • 3tbs gelatin
  1. Cut up strawberries and put into saucepan with lemon juice.
  2. Heat over medium low heat until strawberries become tender.
  3. Puree in a blender.
  4. Mix in honey and vanilla.
  5. Slowly (really, really slowly or you’ll get big yucky clumps) mix in the gelatin. Use a whisk to really mix it in well.
  6. Pour into silicone molds or a small square pan.
  7. Refrigerate for an hour to speed up the setting time.
  8. Run a knife around the edge of the pan or mold that you used, pop out the mixture, and cut as desired.
