Ingredients
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 116oz can guinness½ cup used for sauce
  • 2tbs daddy cook’s spicy cider bourbon glaze
  • 1/2cup jack daniel’s original recipe BBQ sauce
  • salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Thoroughly clean your chicken. Pat dry, then season with salt and pepper
  3. Pour out half of your guinness beer into a glass and reserve for sauce
  4. Place whole seasoned chicken on half filled beer can and place on parchment lined baking sheet.
  5. Place in oven on the lowest rack possible, and cook for 1 hour.
  6. While your chicken cooks, in a medium saucepan, combine ½ cup guinness, 2 tbs bourbon sauce, ½ cup BBQ sauce, and 2 tbs soy sauce. Cook until it slightly thickens then remove from heat. Be patient, may take time to thicken.
  7. When done remove chicken from oven, pour sauce over your chicken. Any excess sauce should be brushed back on.
  8. Continue cooking for another 20 minutes.
