Ingredients
  • 8oz Pillsbury Crescents(8 crescents in a can)
  • 8slices crumbled bacon
  • 1/2 red pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 5 eggs
  • 1cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 egg for egg wash(optional)
  • 1 tbs butter or oil(for cooking peppers)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 F degrees.
  2. In a bowl beat the eggs. Season with salt and pepper. Cook the eggs in a skillet so that they’re scrambled.
  3. Cook chopped peppers in oil or butter for roughly 3-5 minutes or until softened.
  4. Lay out the crescent on a parchment pepper or a well greased pan, like a star as shown in the picture above.
  5. Add scrambled eggs first, then add your cheese, red peppers, and bacon crumbles. (Be sure to press the bacon crumbles into the dough.)
  6. Fold the crescents over. You may now brush with the egg wash if you prefer, we did because it gives the ring a nice and golden color.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes or until the crescents are cooked and golden brown.
