Blueberry Applesauce
  • 4 apples, cored and chopped
  • 1 1/4cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 3/4cup water
  • 1/4cup sugar
  • 1/2tsp cinnamon
  1. Combine all ingredients except blueberries in a medium sauce pan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cover and reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Then add your blueberries and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes
  4. With an immersion blender, blend applesauce until smooth.
  5. Serve warm or cold.
