We are so excited to share with you all the best lemon tart recipe we’ve ever tried. Now this wasn’t an easy decision, and there were many recipes tried before determining this as the winner. The filling had the perfect balance of sweet v.s. tart, and wow was the shortbread crust perfection. And if you read through the list of ingredients, they are mostly staple items that are in your kitchen right now. It’s so awesome when that happens right? It’s like fate takes over and you don’t have a choice but to make it. We definitely had one of these moment when deciding to prepare this recipe, and we are so happy we did.
Just a little tip, and was the hardest thing for us, was to let the tart sit and fully cool off. We sort of failed here and we’ll tell you why. It just looked so darn good we ended up sticking ours in the fridge for a bit to speed up the cooling process ha! Needless to say it worked, and made us feel better that we didn’t have to wait so long. This step is not recommended or needed, but it was tried, tested, and successful.
