Happy Friday everyone! I don’t know about you, but it’s been a rough week back, and i’m still recovering from this past holiday weekend. So, today on the blog is a super easy and satisfying foil pack recipe. Just like sheet pan meals or one pot meals, foil pack meals are extremely flavorful and easy to clean up. And I don’t know about you, but doing dishes is the last thing I want to do today! If this is you, rest assure you’re in the right place.
Each foil pack (4 total) includes onions, potato, carrots, green pepper, chicken, butter, and a homemade italian seasoning. But the butter is the real winner here. It leaves your chicken so moist and tender. Unless you overcook it, so just don’t do that, easier said than done am I right? At a 425 degree oven temperature, the chicken and veggies will need maximum 25 minutes, but i’d go ahead and check it at 20 minutes, it most likely will be done by then. Another thing to keep in mind when prepping your veggies, is try to keep them all at the same thickness so they cook evenly (except the potatoes, just quarter those and you’ll be fine).
This a great middle of the week recipe that you can add to your meal plan. Even though I was cooking for two, all 4 foil packs got eaten over 2 meals, it makes for great leftovers! So much yum you guys! Let us know if you have any questions, we love hearing from our readers!
Up next on the blog we bring you the king of all chocolate chip cookie recipes with a twist. Stay tuned for that amazing sweet treat coming in a few days! Hope you enjoyed your time on the blog, and hope you come back for a visit soon! Happy cooking!
