Part of our agenda this week is introducing you all too some new and fun to make trifle recipes. Featured today is a cookie dough trifle loaded with crumbled-up chocolate chip cookie, edible chocolate chip cookie dough, and chocolate and vanilla pudding. And let’s not forget about the mini chocolate chip cookie dough sandwich on top. Now that’s a sweet treat if I’ve ever seen one. Too much? NEVER!
Some might see this as a sugar overload, but these scrumptious desserts are great to keep on hand for many reasons. It becomes a fun activity that the whole family can partake in, kids included. They can run wild and custom build their own, something we as adults enjoy as well. So, if you have been trying to get your kids in the kitchen, this is a creative and fun way to do that. With such simple ingredients, you can easily prepare each layer in minutes. Perfect for a party setting, and is a cost-efficient way to serve dessert to a large group of people. That’s the big one for us. As foodies, we always feel the pressure to impress with delicious but also stylish food. Easily done with awesome life hacks like dessert in a jar.

- 1 package each chocolate and vanilla Pudding, Jello brand (easily prepared in 5 minutes)
- 6 large chocolate chip cookies, crumbled
- Cool Whip
- 1 bag Chips Ahoy mini chocolate chip cookies (optional)
Ingredients
For Trifle

- Prepare chocolate and vanilla pudding by following the directions on the package and refrigerate until needed.
- Prepare edible cookie dough (see directions below)
- Crumble up your chocolate chip cookies. (easiest in a ziplock bag)
- Layer your trifle as follows: chocolate pudding, crumbled chocolate chip cookies, vanilla pudding, edible cookie dough, chocolate pudding, cool whip, and your chips ahoy edible cookie dough sandwich (optional).
- Best to use a piping bag or a small spoon to add pudding layers. We used a really small spoon and it worked well.
- Servings size may change depending on size of jar/glass used.
