Thumbs up for another tasty Blue Apron meal. If you’ve ever considered but never tried this amazing service, you must give it a try. We have said it before, but it takes the guesswork out of cooking dinner each night. Not to mention the convenient packaging of ingredients (which everything is pre packaged according to the amount needed for the recipe) and delivered to your doorstep.
After preparing this meal, we’ve got a few tips and tricks for you. The key here is not overcooking the chicken. With any chicken recipe, our biggest concern in cleanliness and cooking it all the way through. Obviously Blue Apron has the same concern. We have noticed with the recipes that include chicken, they instruct you to cook the chicken for longer than necessary. Now, having said that, please be sure to cut into your chicken and double check its doneness as we don’t want anyone getting sick. This is obvious though right? Anyways the cook time for the cashew chicken say’s 8-10 min per side, we did more like 6 min per side on medium to high heat. We also recommend not stirring the chicken while it cooks for even cooking on both sides.
