Welcome back to the start of the work week, and we’re feeling good! Surprising right?! We have mentioned in the past how Monday’s are tough for a lot of people including ourselves. What we find helps is to plan out your week all the way down to the nitty gritty detail. That’s not to say that things don’t come up during the week that we can’t control, but we can try to keep some structure. Real talk though, we totally sound like our mother’s right now! Isn’t it funny how things come back around in life. The words planning and structure we’re not in our vocabulary 10-15 years ago, but look at us know?!
Thanks mom’s! I think it’s safe to say that most of us keep a calendar or have a to do list that helps keep them organized day to day. I swear, google calendar feels like our third business partner sometimes. We’d be lost and fail miserably at life without it. Ok maybe that’s a little dramatic, but you get the point. Included in those nitty gritty details of planning out our week includes meals. Like we said above, there are things that come up in life that you can’t control, and we’re big believers in controlling what we can, and rolling with the punches of what we can’t. When it’s one of those days and it feels like nothing is happening as scheduled, not knowing what to eat can be that added stress that sends you over the edge. Been there, done that.
This breakfast crescent ring is a great addition to your weekly menu for so many reasons. It’s very easy to make, it’s delicious of course, and any left overs can be heated up the next day. Start off by making your scrambled eggs until they just set, make your bacon crumbles (or use store bought totally up to you), cut up some bell pepper, and build your crescent ring (see step by step photo instructions). This breakfast recipe is much like an omelet and your toppings can be easily changed to your liking. It’s also great at easily feeding a lot of people as the recipe yields 8 servings. Sounds almost too good to be true!
