There is nothing like a good Banana Bread Muffins recipe to get you through the remainder of the work week. Sometimes it really does take a sweet treat pick me up, you know what I mean? And it’s only Wednesday when it feels like it should be Friday. It’s time to bring out the big guns and power through to the weekend. Easier said than done, until you devour one of these tasty morsels.
This no fail easy banana bread recipe might actually give you superhuman abilities. Ok, not really, but it sounds pretty cool. For real though, I can’t tell you how many banana bread muffins and loafs I’ve tried, but this recipe from the “Joy of Cooking” cookbook is the winner. Much like all the other recipes we’ve been sharing from the book.
If you’re just tuning in, let me explain. Now I might be sounding like a broken record if you’ve been following our blog recently so I’ll make this quick. Awhile back we decided to utilize this awesome platform we have, and redo/improve recipes that both Sammy and I grew up on. And even though we grew up in totally different parts of the US, we connected through some of the recipes our mothers cooked us from this book.
Part of me feels like i’ve known her for longer. Or even just have a better understanding of what her life was like growing up. Pretty powerful stuff in my opinion. So to honor that, we wanted to bring this incredible to book to you via our blog. Not to mention some of the old fashion cooking lingo and ingredients could use an upgrade.
Ok so not so short of an explanation, but we are just excited about this journey the babbling just comes spilling out.
