I am so excited to introduce the very first pumpkin recipe of fall 2017 on the blog today! Gnocchi with Pumpkin, Sage, and Turkey Bacon is savory, comforting, and let’s not forget cheesy! All great qualities for a tasty fall recipe.
I’d love to say I created the sauce from scratch, but I gotta be honest and admit I didn’t. Sammy and I recently did a cooking demo at Williams Sonoma in Beverly Hills, CA, and total bonus it was during their fall open house. I walked in and I immediately felt at home. And everything pumpkin was staring me in the face, I couldn’t leave empty handed. Funny, I guess my hubby felt the same way.
What a gem my man is, he came out to support the demo and stayed the entire 3 hours; all because he said it was fun watching me work. I got a keeper guys! The moment he came over with a bag full of pumpkin pasta sauce and pumpkin bisque soup confirmed the reason I married him; that and his constant positive and supportive attitude of course.
Thus bringing us to the reason for our post today. Williams Sonoma’s Pumpkin Sauce is my new must have pantry item. With a little extra salt & pepper, the combination of sage and turkey bacon on top of any kind of pasta is going to be a winner. I highly recommend you try this recipe, and I might even include it on the thanksgiving menu this year.
This concludes our post for today, and we hope stay tuned as we have tons more delicious fall recipes coming soon!
